To use QWKLIMIT.RS simply choose 'E' to Execute Script and specify
QWKLIMIT.RS as the script to execute. This should be done instead of
choosing 'G' to Get Mail.
A box will pop up asking for the folowing infomation:
Mail Scan Starting Conference Number
Mail Scan Ending Conference Number
Send Replies? (Y/N)
Hang up after mail run? (Y/N)
Specify the starting and ending conference numbers to limit QMAIL's
conference scanning. You no longer have to wait 10 minutes for 3000
Usenet conferences to be searched. Just specify the highest
conference number you belong to as the ending number.
Example: If you enter 0 for Starting Conference Number and 317 for
Ending Conference Number, only conferences 0 to 317
will be scanned for mail.
To specify only one conference (ie. 0 Main) just make the
begining and ending conferences the same.
The script will repeat the mail scan until there is no mail
left to send.
Answer Y or N to the Send Replies and Hang Up after mail run
questions. I think these two are self explanatory.
You only have to enter these parameters once, as long as the
execution of the script is a 'Permanent' agenda item, Robocomm
saves your parameters (it's a beautiful thing). If you want
to change the conferences, etc. just delete the agenda item
and re-enter it, Robocomm will ask for the script parameters again.
If you have any questions, you can reach me on Compuserve, or
leave a message in either the Smartnet or ILink Robocomm conferences.
